Sting, Annie Lennox Announce Special Guest Dominic Miller, Sacred Love Tour 2004.

STING and ANNIE LENNOX, two of the world's most talented and beloved performers announced today that Dominic Miller will be joining them as special guest this summer as the Sacred Love Tour continues throughout North America. Sting, Annie Lennox and Dominic Miller will perform in Amphitheatres and arenas beginning on June 27th at the Tweeter Center in Philadelphia. The tour is presented by Clear Channel Entertainment and produced by RZO Entertainment, Inc.

As a musician, Sting has remained at the forefront of public consciousness for over two decades and has written some of the most enduring songs of our time. His latest recording, Sacred Love - released in September '03 to both critical and commercial success - is a perfect example. As an accompaniment to the album, Sting released Inside The Songs of Sacred Love a DVD, which allows viewers to join the artist for the very first time on his journey as he creates and performs his new album.

In addition to having released his tenth solo album, Sting has also published his memoirs, entitled Broken Music, which has remained on various Bestsellers lists since its release.

Of equally impressive note is Sting's tireless support of human rights organizations. In 1989, Sting, along with his wife Trudie Styler, founded the Rainforest Foundation to protect both the world's rainforests and their indigenous peoples. Together, they have raised more than $18 million with 13 benefit concerts held to raise funds and awareness of our planet's endangered resources. Last month, Sting was presented with the prestigious "Person of the Year" Award by the MusiCares Foundation. In 2003, Sting was also named Billboard's Century Award Honoree as recognized at the Billboard Music Awards. He's been awarded 16 Grammys, two Brits, a Golden Globe, an Emmy and received three Oscar nominations. He has also appeared in more than 10 films and starred in the Broadway play "The Threepenny Opera."

Annie Lennox is a peerless singer, writer and performer. Last year has been an exceptional one for her, highlighted by her recent Oscar and Golden Globe wins for "Into The West" from the blockbuster motion picture "Lord Of The Rings: Return of the King" as well as a Grammy nomination for her critically acclaimed masterpiece Bare. In fact, Lennox ended 2003 with one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the year for this, her first collection of solo, self-penned material released in over a decade. The New York Times proclaimed that the album "returns Annie Lennox to her truest calling: as a maker of plush and furious songs." Bare cemented her status as one of the world's premier songwriters and vocalists and, judging by the album's commercial success, one of its most popular. Her voice has been hailed as having no equal. Annie's career has spanned two and a half decades, emerging onto the world stage in 1982 with Dave Stewart, her partner in Eurythmics. The duo released their first smash hit "Sweet Dreams Are Made of This" in 1982 and since then Lennox has continuously produced songs that have become part of the soundtrack of our collective lives.

This three-time Grammy winner and 2002 Billboard Century Award Winner Lennox not only works hard on her creative endeavors, but also toils behind the scenes on several humanitarian endeavors. She is an Ambassador for Amnesty International, Greenpeace, Global Vision for Peace and the United Nations. She also plays a large role in Nelson Mandela's Aids Foundation as part of its 46664 campaign.

Guitar virtuoso Dominic Miller, who has been the featured guitarist in Sting's band since 1989, is set to open Sting's "Sacred Love" tour this summer supporting his new Decca solo disc Shapes. Miller will be performing highlights from his new album which features guest performances by Sting, Placido Domingo and smooth jazz trumpeter, Chris Botti. Shapes is a timeless collection of twelve classically inspired pieces showcasing Miller's distinctive guitar work. Miller says, "There are so many great classical tunes and I realized that no guitarist had tried to perform a lot of them before. They're great tunes, which I've tried to interpret in a genuinely new way."
