Still Coping.


For several weeks last summer, Montoursville High School became the best-known school on earth. Worldwide news media attention reined on the small central Pennsylvania Pennsylvania (pĕnsəlvā`nyə), one of the Middle Atlantic states of the United States. It is bordered by New Jersey, across the Delaware River (E), Delaware (SE), Maryland (S), West Virginia (SW), Ohio (W), and Lake Erie and New York  town after 16 local teen-agers perished in the crash of TWA TWA Time-weighted average, see there  Flight 800.

Superintendent David Black David Black may refer to:

, widely interviewed in the tragedy's aftermath, says the spotlight is now gone. "When you're involved in the day to day, you lose sight of it."

Black says his tiny staff got lots of help in dealing with the attention. Local hospital staff wrote thank you notes for the hundreds of monetary donations, and three school board members handled the same for other gifts sent in the students memories.
