Steve Balk Joins DataFlux as Vice President of Sales in Rapidly Growing Data Quality Market; Enterprise software sales executive to accelerate data quality integration solutions growth.

CARY, N.C. -- DataFlux, a leading provider of data quality integration solutions, announced today that Steve K. Balk has joined DataFlux as vice president of sales. Formerly a sales executive at Hummingbird Corp. and Ascential Software, Balk will oversee North American sales of DataFlux solutions through an expanding sales force in the fast-growing data quality market.

Balk has nearly 20 years of senior-level sales management experience and more than 10 years in the data warehousing and data integration marketplaces. At Hummingbird Corp. he served as regional vice president and was responsible for business intelligence (BI) practices and for blending BI with unstructured content management solutions.

Balk also led successful sales efforts at Ardent Software (acquired by Informix) and Centerline Software.
