 visualization products, today announced the appointment of Lenny Lipton, chairman of the Board and founder of StereoGraphics Corp., to the role of chief executive officer. In this new role, he will oversee the company's operations to sustain StereoGraphics' strong record of growth through creative and innovative product introductions in the stereoscopic 3D visualization market. Lipton will maintain his role as chief technology officer and continue to lead research and development.

Lipton founded StereoGraphics Corp. in 1980 and has been granted over twenty patents in the field of stereoscopic display, encompassing the Stereo3D(TM) technology used in all of its products today -- including its CrystalEyes(R), ZScreen(R) and SynthaGram(TM) product lines. In 1996 he received an award from the Smithsonian Institution Smithsonian Institution, research and education center, at Washington, D.C.; founded 1846 under terms of the will of James Smithson of London, who in 1829 bequeathed his fortune to the United States to create an establishment for the "increase and diffusion of  for his invention of CrystalEyes, the first practical electronic stereoscopic product for computer graphics and video applications.

Lipton has written many articles on imaging and contributed to national magazines such as Popular Photography and American Cinematographer. He independently produced twenty-five films and has written four books Four Books
