Stephen Wallace Joins Visitar, Inc. as CFO; Company Secures Additional $1 Million in Funding; Executive hire part of strategic expansion driven by early market success and expanded funding from The Aurora Funds and NC IDEA.

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Visitar, the first company to offer hosted communications enabled customer relationship management (CRM) solutions exclusively for the 'true' small and mid-sized business (SMB), announced today the appointment of Mr. Stephen Wallace as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Wallace enhances the proven executive team with significant experience in leading successful businesses, including growing ventures and market leaders.

Steve Wallace has an extensive background in strategic planning for growing companies, M&As, operational management and systems implementation. Prior to joining Visitar, he served as Chief Financial Officer for various technology and systems implementation companies including Vista Information Technologies, Inc. (Vista). He has also served as Director of Financial Planning and Accounting for publicly held Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. and began his career at Price Waterhouse in Washington, DC. Steve has a bachelor of science in accounting from Virginia Tech, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and Certified in Financial Management (CFM).

In addition to the key executive hire, the company has recently secured $1 million in additional funding. The Aurora Funds -- which participated in Visitar's initial funding round -- and NC IDEA, which provides grants, loans and traditional venture capital to innovative young companies, were the investors. As part of the agreement Mr. W. Merrette Moore, vice president for NC IDEA, will join the Visitar board.
