Stephanie A. Woodruff Joins Accretive Solutions as Executive Vice President, Corporate Governance Practice.

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. -- Stephanie Woodruff has recently joined Accretive Solutions as Executive Vice President, Accretive Solutions - Corporate Governance Practice. She will spearhead this new practice area that will initially focus on three specific service offerings: Internal Audit Services, Business Risk & Compliance Services, and Technology Risk Management Services. The practice will consist of dedicated management team based out of our newly opened Minneapolis, MN, office that will provide expertise to our Horn Murdock Cole offices nationwide. It was formed so the company can further leverage the existing Sarbanes (SOX) and Internal Audit work across the firm on a national level.

Stephanie has extensive experience in a number of specific areas, including: SOX compliance, management of a global internal audit department, and internal audit practice and methodology development, risk assessment in a global environment, compliance reviews, audit committee effectiveness, audit & compliance software development, fraud & forensics, business development & sales, strategic planning, and start-up experience. Prior to joining Accretive, Stephanie was Vice President Business Consulting at Certus Software, Inc., San Jose, CA, which is a leading provider of corporate governance and compliance software. Prior to Certus, she was Global Managing Director at Resources Connection, Inc. (Nasdaq: RECN), where she successfully launched and was responsible for all aspects of their internal audit and risk management subsidiary, Resources Audit Solutions, LLC. Prior to joining RECN, she served as a Senior Manager at Deloitte in their Enterprise Risk Services Practice and was the Internal Audit Services Practice Leader in Minneapolis. Prior to Deloitte, she spent 12 years at Cargill Incorporated as a Worldwide Audit Manager. She held various management positions as the North American Audit Manager, she lived in Singapore and managed the Asia Pacific Audit function, and she led the Worldwide Fraud and Forensics Audit Group.

Stephanie has spoken and written on issues of internal audit, SOX, and corporate governance. She currently serves as a Senior Council Advisor to Gerson Lehrman Group (an investment research firm in New York City), and consults with their clients regarding the SOX market outlook.
