StemCell Pharma Acquires Exclusive Rights to New Stem Cells/Placenta Products.

LAS VEGAS -- StemCell Pharma announces that it has acquired exclusive rights on two types of products containing placenta-derived stem cells stem cells, unspecialized human or animal cells that can produce mature specialized body cells and at the same time replicate themselves. Embryonic stem cells are derived from a blastocyst (the blastula typical of placental mammals; see embryo), which is very young , namely: 1. A line of anti-aging/aging control products in oral form and 2. Cosmetics from face creams to hair products.

Placenta blood contains totipotent to·tip·o·ten·cy   also to·tip·o·tence
n. pl. to·tip·o·ten·cies also to·tip·o·ten·ces
The ability of a cell, such as an egg, to give rise to unlike cells and thus to develop into or generate a new organism or part.
stem cells, i.e. cells that can give rise to a fully/total functional new organism. They can engineer and repair any damaged tissue or organ. They are different from pluripotent stem cells that can only differentiate into any cell type of the human body, and multipotent stem cells limited to giving rise to cells that are specialized for a particular function, for example, blood stem cells give rise only to red blood cells Red blood cells
Cells that carry hemoglobin (the molecule that transports oxygen) and help remove wastes from tissues throughout the body.

Mentioned in: Bone Marrow Transplantation

, white blood cells White blood cells
A group of several cell types that occur in the bloodstream and are essential for a properly functioning immune system.

, and platelets, or skin stem cells that give rise to the various types of skin cells. Placenta blood has all types of stem cells, totipotent, pluripotent plu·rip·o·tent or plu·ri·po·ten·tial
adj.
1. Capable of affecting more than one organ or tissue.

2. Not fixed as to potential development. Used of an embryonic cell.
, and multipotent, plus precious nutrients, hormones, and others needed for the development of the future baby.

Dr. Sapse, President of StemCell Pharma, states, "As a 'veteran' user of placenta and umbilical cords implants and unbeknown to me at that time of stem cells (The year was 1951, and the place was the Filatov Institute, Odessa, USSR USSR: see Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. ) I am in a privileged position to have a bird's eye view of the whole stem cells picture, also know how to take a short cut towards using StemCell Pharma's technology, now."

The present research is gearing towards extracting various types of stem cells from placenta, umbilical cord, embryos, bone marrow, nervous tissues, fat, etc, cultures them and coax them into becoming new blood, nerves, skin, repair hearts, pancreases, and others.

This type of research is logical, scientific, specialized, compartmented, yet it will take time, and the results might come too late for many.

Our approach is much simpler since we are using the shotgun approach 'shotgun approach' A diagnostic philosophy in which every conceivable parameter is measured, especially in a Pt with an obscure disease, to detect rare conditions that may cause a particular Sx. See Defensive medicine. Cf Screening. , by using the whole placenta, rich in all types of stem cells, implant it in the body of those in need, and let the recipient's body direct them where needed. We are optimistic about the future.
