), today launched the SteelEye Channel Partner Program in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. . The program seeks to support and actively recruit systems integrators and resellers for SteelEye's award-winning LifeKeeper high availability Also called "RAS" (reliability, availability, serviceability) or "fault resilient," it refers to a multiprocessing system that can quickly recover from a failure. Primary targets for the program are system integrators in North America desiring to offer high availability, continuous data protection or disaster recovery to their customers, independent software vendors (ISVs) looking to add high availability or automated data replication to their products, and OEMs who may desire to embed higher levels of availability into their hardware devices.
