Staying put makes sense as agency locks into lease at 902 Broadway.

Winoker Realty Co. announced that Bayard Advertising has completed a 12-year renewal and expansion on the lease for its corporate headquarters at 902 Broadway. Bayard Advertising, founded in 1923, also maintains offices in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Miami, Washington, DC, Atlanta and Denver. The firm previously occupied 16,500 square feet at 902 Broadway.

Winoker Realty executive vice president Ira Fishman, senior vice president Corey Abdo, and associate director Jonathan Stern represented Bayard Advertising in its search for space. GVA Williams' team of Marty Meyer and Perry Mesmer represented the landlord, 902 Broadway Associates.

Other office tenants in the building include Safavieh Carpet of Isfahan, The Sporting News, not-for-profit Phipps Houses and ad agency Della Femina Rothschild Jeary and Partners. The 20-story, 330,000 s/f building was built in 1913. "Bayard has been a tenant in 902 Broadway for 20 years. In today's competitive commercial real estate market, locking into a lease at a well-regarded address like 902 Broadway is a shrewd business decision," Fishman said.

"After conducting an exhaustive search throughout midtown, the agency decided that ultimately it made the most sense financially to keep its roots right here in the Flatiron district."
