Alumni Association An alumni association is an association of graduates (alumni) or, more broadly, of former students. In the United Kingdom and the United States, alumni of universities, colleges, schools (especially independent schools), fraternities, and sororities often form groups with alumni . All graduates who are members of the Alumni Association are automatically members of the Walton College Alumni Society.
The goal of the society is to promote involvement and communication between the alumni network and the college. The first step toward these goals is to stay connected. Maintaining current contact information for alumni can be a challenge especially with younger generations. Walton College alumni can update their contact information at: www.waltoncollege.uark.edu/alumni.
The Future Generation
This year the Walton College Alumni Society is focusing not only on alumni, but also the future generation of alumni--today's students. Making the connection with students before they enter the "real world" will foster a network of engaged alumni. In today's uncertain job market, building and maintaining a professional network is important to business graduates.
