The University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation (UWMF UWMF University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation ) is very pleased that the dispute between IDX (IDX Systems Corporation, South Burlington, VT, www.idx.com) One of the largest health care information systems companies in the country, acquired in 2006 by GE Healthcare (www.gehealthcare.com), a unit of the General Electric Company. , Epic and UWMF has been dismissed. UWMF is happy to be able to redirect resources away from this matter so that our faculty physicians can more fully engage in the work of patient care, teaching students and developing new medical knowledge.
