), terrorist threats, accidents and natural disasters, today announced that it has received a $1.8 million order from the State of Maryland for 20 of its Mobile Emergency Power Systems.

The Mobile Emergency Power System is another new, internally developed product for TVI Corporation. In the event of an incident, the system's primary function is to provide back-up emergency power. These trailerized systems come in both a 500 kilowatt, and 350 kilowatt configuration and are capable of powering mission critical government functions such as wastewater treatment plants, emergency management centers and water works. With the addition of TVI's mobile and rapidly deployable electrical generation systems, the State of Maryland is able to enhance its existing inventory of emergency power response capabilities.

The order was placed through Fisher Safety, a division of Fisher The Division of Fisher is an Australian Electoral Division in Queensland. The division was created in 1949 and is named for Andrew Fisher, three times Prime Minister of Australia.  Scientific, one of TVI's national distributors.

Over the past 18 months, through technological innovation, TVI has expanded its product line to include hospital patient isolation, chemical and biological protection and hospital surge capacity systems, crime scene management systems, and powered air respirators.
