IRMS Solution Enhances Tracking of Inventory Levels, Distribution and Use

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. -- Integrated Warehousing Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of supply chain execution solutions, announced today that the Georgia Department of Human Resources has selected the IRMS Warehouse Management System (IRMS) and the IRMS Mobile Emergency Response System ("Go-Kit") for its Inventory and Patient Tracking System (IPTS).

The IWS IRMS system will support 3,000 users for day-to-day inventory control in all 159 counties in the State of Georgia, including receiving donated items, storing, kitting, staging, distribution, and dispensing of the Strategic National Stockpile of critical medicines in the event of a crisis. Additionally, the IRMS "Go-Kit" provides the State with a mobile, standalone solution capable of supporting and dispensing the Strategic National Stockpile in worst-case operating environments. With the implementation of IRMS, the Department of Human Resources expects to streamline operations, improve inventory visibility, and efficiency particularly in the areas of patient tracking, inventory control, receiving, put away, kitting and order fulfillment.

IRMS is a web-hosted solution that will provide inventory management, allow entry of patient information, and track dispensing of medications and distribution of medical supplies in response to a natural disaster, epidemic outbreak or other critical event.
