State Financial Corporation Names Robert J. Cera to Head State Financial Bank.

State Financial Services Corporation has named Robert J. Cera as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of State Financial Bank as well as Executive Vice President and Director of State Financial Services Corporation.
In making the announcement, Michael J. Falbo, State Financial Services President and Chief Executive Officer indicated, "Rob brings a proven track record of growing profitable businesses, with a passion and style that fits our emphasis on growing customer relationships across the wide range of services we offer. Cera, (39), most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of The Lang Companies of Delafield, where he provided leadership and direction for all financial and operating activities of the diversified privately-held holding company. Prior to that, he held the positions of Treasurer, Senior Vice President and Senior Lending Officer with Bando McGlocklin Small Business Investment Corporation with responsibility for portfolio management, loan origination and financial reporting for the publicly traded lending institution.
Cera will oversee a growing franchise for State Financial, which today includes 28 locations in southeastern Wisconsin and northeastern Illinois. Through its banking network, it provides commercial and retail banking products, long-term fixed rate secondary market mortgage origination and brokerage activities.

Cera has extensive experience in financial services, retail, commercial lending, business development and acquisition integration. He began his career at Valley Bank in Appleton, WI and subsequently spent four years at Marine Bank/Bank One Corporation where he held a series of positions of increasing responsibility spanning internal audit, commercial loan analysis and middle-market lending. Cera holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. He and his wife, Carrie, and their three children reside in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
