State Fair of Texas Chooses Daktronics to Provide ProStar(R) High Definition Video Display for Cotton Bowl; Daktronics Also to Provide New Sound System.


BROOKINGS, S.D. -- The State Fair of Texas has chosen Daktronics Inc. (Nasdaq:DAKT) of Brookings, S.D., to design and build a true high definition (HD) light emitting diode See LED.  (LED) video display for the Cotton Bowl, home of the annual AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic, the Red River Rivalry featuring national champion University of Texas and perennial powerhouse A fourth-generation language from Cognos that was introduced in the late 1970s for midrange computers. It supports both character-oriented, terminal-based applications as well as Windows clients. Applications developed under PowerHouse can be imported into Cognos' Axiant client/server environment.  Oklahoma, and other football and entertainment events. The new Cotton Bowl main scoreboard will replace a Daktronics scoreboard that was installed in 1975. Technological advances since then have made video replay screens much more affordable, and now available with true HD capability. When completed, the new ProStar(R) video board will match the 720p HD standard, with 720 lines of resolution The number of horizontal lines on a TV or computer screen.
