State Assembly Sponsors "Take it Back Partnership" Collection Event

 and Lori Saldana will host two free electronics drop off events at the State Capitol for employees of the California State Capitol The California State Capitol building in Sacramento, California houses the California State Legislature and the office of the Governor of California. The building, on the grounds of the California State Capitol Museum, was constructed in the neoclassical style between 1861 and 1874 . Their Take It Back Partner for this event is Goodwill, Serving Sacramento Valley The Sacramento Valley is the portion of the California Central Valley that lies to the north of the San Joaquin-Sacramento Delta in the U.S. state of California. It encompasses all or parts of ten counties. , which will use funds generated from this electronic waste recycling recycling, the process of recovering and reusing waste products—from household use, manufacturing, agriculture, and business—and thereby reducing their burden on the environment.  to support its skill development and employment program for individuals with barriers to employment.

The first of the events, on June 13, will give Capitol employees and state employees in near-by offices a unique opportunity to recycle their used and unwanted televisions, computers, computer equipment and other electronics. Originally from Connecticut, Leonard Robinson has appeared in theaters nationwide including the Williamstown Theatre Festival, New York Fringe Festival, and Studio Theatre in Washington, DC.
 will present Assembly Members Dave Jones and Lori Saldana with a certificate welcoming the Assembly to the California Take-It-Back! Partnership. Other legislators are expected to attend in support of this important effort. Representatives from WalMart and Leonardo Da Vinci Leonardo da Vinci (də vĭn`chē, Ital. lāōnär`dō dä vēn`chē), 1452–1519, Italian painter, sculptor, architect, musician, engineer, and scientist, b. near Vinci, a hill village in Tuscany.  K-8 School, dedicated Take-It-Back partners will also be on hand.
