In this newly created position, Fenard will be responsible for operations throughout Starwood's spa facilities in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. .  Transocean Inc., an international management company (acquired by Steiner Management Services in 1996), as manager of spa operations. Fenard advanced rapidly during her tenure with the company, and was ultimately named senior vice president of operations where her responsibilities included overseeing a diverse range of spa facilities around the world. Most recently Fenard served as a consultant for Steiner Maritime Services where she directed all phases of daily operations for the Disney Magic and Wonder Vista Spas.

Fenard has a comprehensive background in the spa industry commencing with a five-year apprenticeship with Raymond of London, and City & Guilds certification from the Pontypridd College of Further Education.
