As a promotional licensee, Romar will work with NASCAR sponsors and corporate partners to create promotions and premiums. The auto racing circuit has 200 licensees overall and seven promotional licensees, said Blake Davidson, NASCAR's managing director, licensed products. "They had a proven track record and experience in the promotional licensing category and we thought they would make a good fit and be a good option for our sponsors and corporate partners to work with," Davidson said. Romar, which has roughly $100 million in revenues, is the only NASCAR promotional licensee based in Los Angeles. Romar officials did not return calls seek seeking comment.
