The Shops at Columbus Circle The Shops at Columbus Circle is an urban shopping mall in the Time Warner Center in Manhattan, New York City — a complex of skyscrapers that was completed in 2003. It is located at Columbus Circle, next to the southwestern corner of Central Park. , at Time Warner Center The Time Warner Center is a mixed-use skyscraper developed by The Related Companies in New York City. Its design, by David Childs and Mustafa Kemal Abadan of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, consists of two 229 m (750 ft) towers bridged by a multi-story atrium containing upscale retail , New York City's newest shopping, dining event and entertainment destination will celebrate the holiday season with an experience that is certain to become a New York classic.

Visitors to Time Warner Center will shop "Under the Stars" as they experience New York City's latest holiday tradition, the world's largest holiday sound and light show.

As holiday music resounds throughout the 150 foot high Great Room, a display featuring twelve 14 foot Moravian stars sparkle in concert with original interpretations of the legendary Nutcracker Suite. The compositions range from jazz to rock and classical renditions, and are cued to the complex lighting design in each star.

The sound and light experience will take place every day during the holiday season through January 8 beginning each evening at 4.00 p.m. and running through closing. The visual light and sound experience has been created by Holiday Image, Inc. a Brooklyn based firm renowned for one of a kind holiday displays for many of the nation's top retailers.

The brilliant stars are lit by over 8,500 colors LED's and measure 14 feet tall by 12 feet wide, making them the tallest stars in the City towering 5 feet above the star that tops the big tree. If stacked point to point the stars would reach an astonishing a·ston·ish
