:MOT) and leading provider of wireless Internet Solutions, announced today veteran technologist Patrick Williams has joined the Starfish Management team as Vice President of Device Engineering.

Hand picked by Philippe Kahn, Williams will manage the device team, driving the development and execution of revolutionary, feature-rich wireless Internet devices to deliver unparalleled wireless Internet solutions to customers and partners, worldwide. In this position, Williams will work directly with Philippe Kahn and the Starfish management team to further advance the Starfish vision of global synchronization and integration of information across wireless and wireline devices, desktop applications and server applications.

Prior to joining Starfish, Williams was Director of Development for the C ++ Product line at Borland International, now Inprise International, where he managed the creation, implementation, distribution of C++ Builder and Borland C++. Williams was previously Development Manager at Borland International, where he coordinated and oversaw the development and integration of the C++ and Java compilers, RTL (Register Transfer Level) A high-level hardware description language (HDL) for defining digital circuits. The circuits are described as a collection of registers, Boolean equations, control logic such as "if-then-else" statements as well as complex event sequences; , Turbo Debugger and Turbo Assembler to form complete solutions.
