Today, Starfish Software, leading provider of end-to-end synchronization infrastructure and data connectivity solutions for the wireless Internet, announced that Herb Woodward has joined the Starfish senior management team as vice president of professional services.

Woodward, most recently Executive in Residence with Propel Partners LLC, brings to Starfish an outstanding background directing programs, products and professional services in the software, computer, and telecommunications fields. Woodward has broad national and international leadership experience with both large and smaller companies. He was Vice President of Professional Services for three pre-IPO software focused B2B and B2C companies - XUMA, Savi Technology and Aspirian. And he has held senior management positions with Tandem, a computer/software and systems integration company, as well as with TRW, a large software and systems integration corporation. Woodward holds a MS in Management from USC, and a BS in Engineering (focus on computer science) from MIT.

S. Suresh, Starfish's departing vice president of professional services, who joined Starfish in 1996 and led the growth of Starfish's professional services organization through many key engagements with partners including Motorola and Yahoo!, will be retiring to spend more time with his family.
