StarNet Launches Feature Rich SSH Client for Windows Computers.


SAN FRANCISCO San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  -- StarNet Communications of Sunnyvale (California), a leading developer of Windows-to-Linux/Unix host access solutions, announces the release of StarNetSSH, a fully featured suite of connection security tools for Windows-based computers, including Windows Vista The current version of Windows for the desktop. It was released in late 2006 for businesses and early 2007 for consumers.

Vista adds numerous features, including improved security and advanced multimedia capabilities.
. StarNetSSH includes SSH (Secure SHell) A security protocol for logging into a remote server. SSH provides an encrypted session for transferring files and executing server programs. Also serving as a secure client/server connection for applications such as database access and e-mail, SSH supports a  terminal, Secure File Transfer (SFTP (1) (SSH FTP) Transferring files using the secure SSH protocol.
