StarBak Supports Dual-Stream Video for Enterprise Video Communications; H.239 Support Added to StarBak Integrated Network Video (INV).

WALTHAM, Mass. -- StarBak Communications(R), the leading provider of integrated network A network that supports both data and voice and/or different networking protocols. See converged network and new public network.  video solutions that allow organizations to simply and easily create, manage, deliver and display video-based applications over IP networks, announced today its support for the H.239 protocol allowing dual-stream video on StarBak's industry-leading Integrated Network Video (INV INV

H.239 is an international video standard that allows two simultaneous channels to be sent through a single video conference call. With H.239 support for StarBak's INV, users are now able to show live input, such as a video stream of a speaker or instructor, alongside content captured from a computer screen, from sources such as documents, slides, spreadsheets or white boards. Two-scalable windows allow live and on-demand broadcasts to become enhanced, multi-media presentations.

"H.239, or dual stream video, is one of the features that make video communications so much more powerful than simple webcasting," said Gregory Casale, chief executive officer of StarBak Communications. "With StarBak INV, presentations not only include live video of the speaker, but a second multimedia window as well. This raises the bar on how organizations communicate, particularly in the fields of healthcare, education, legal and financial services The examples and perspective in this article or section may not represent a worldwide view of the subject.
