Early life
 proved just how much more, filing a lawsuit regarding ownership of a nonprofit she said she created called See Jane.

In the suit, Davis said that during early 2004 she "independently conceived of an idea to form a charitable foundation to research and become involved in advocacy related to the depictions of gender in children's media."
