Star power fuels E-Recycling campaign.The state of California, working with Hollywood's environmental community, has launched a multimedia consumer awareness and public information campaign in an effort to educate the state's residents about electronics recycling. The campaign follows the Jan. 1st implementation of California's Electronic Waste Recycling Act The Electronic Waste Recycling Act of 2003 (EWRA) is a California law to reduce the use of certain hazardous substances in certain electronic products sold in the state. Electronic Waste Recycling fee The Electronic Waste Recycling Fee is a fee imposed by the government of the state of California in the United States on new purchases of electronic products with viewable screens.
