Star Thermoplastics thermoplastics, materials that soften or melt when heated and harden when cooled. Thermoplastic polymers consist of long polymer molecules that are not linked to each other. i.e., have no cross-links.  Division, Star Thermoplastic A polymer material that turns to liquid when heated and becomes solid when cooled.  & Rubbers, Chicago, IL, announced an expansion of its headquarters and production facilities. Star is expanding into 12,000 sq. ft. in their four-story facility, expanding production capacity from 12 million lbs./yr. to 16 million lbs./yr.
