Star Real Estate Expands Resources to New, Updated Facilities in Fountain Valley Plaza Building.


FOUNTAIN VALLEY Fountain Valley, city (1990 pop. 53,691), Orange co., S Calif.; inc. 1957. Chiefly residential, Fountain Valley also has diverse manufactures, including apparel, computer equipment, semiconductors, and medical equipment. A U.S. navy helicopter facility is there. , Calif. -- Effective immediately, Star Real Estate has moved their headquarters' departments and several of their agent offices from their previous location on Slater Avenue to their new site at 10540 Talbert Avenue, in the Fountain Valley Plaza. The two Fountain Valley Plaza towers are an easily recognized "black glass" landmark along the 405 Freeway just west of the Euclid off-ramp on Talbert. The new, modernized offices are part of an expansion effort to meet and exceed Star's client needs.

Dick Rafferty, Star Real Estate's president, stated: "Since our organization's merger in 2001, we've been growing to meet customer needs and we've taken a dominant role in supplying real estate solutions in the Huntington Beach Huntington Beach, city (1990 pop. 181,519), Orange co., S Calif., on the Pacific coast, across from Santa Catalina Island, in an oil-producing area; inc. 1909. It manufactures aerospace vehicles, aircraft parts, optical instruments, and heat transfer equipment. , Fountain Valley, and surrounding areas. With an eye toward further expansion and the need to always provide the latest technologies and tools to help our agents and our customers, we've selected this new location. We'll take advantage of the move to update even more of our systems and technology as well."

"Our main offices will be on the ground floor of the West Tower in the Fountain Valley Plaza, and we'll occupy approximately 15,000 square feet with a 10-year lease," said Frank McDowell, Star's chief executive officer. "This new location is better suited for us and also provides us with covered parking and great signage, making it even easier for agents and customers to find us."
