Stantec Acquires Toronto Electrical Engineering Firm Carinci Burt Rogers Engineering, Inc.

:SXC) announced today it has completed the acquisition of electrical engineering consulting firm Carinci Burt Rogers Engineering, Inc of Toronto (CBR). CBR adds over 20 employees and a strong electrical engineering component to Stantec's presence in the Greater Toronto Area The Greater Toronto Area (widely abbreviated as the GTA) is the most populous metropolitan area in Canada. The GTA is a provincial planning area with a population of 5,555,912 at the 2006 Canadian Census. .

CBR's illumination experience spans all categories of projects including commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, and recreational buildings and facilities.
