Stanford University and Windermere Real Estate to Host Fourth Annual Collegiate Rowing Regatta at Redwood Shores.


STANFORD, Calif. -- More than 20 top universities from across the nation will travel to the Bay Area for two days of fierce competition and festival

Jacobi in 1972, when he purchased an eight-agent office in the Windermere neighborhood of Seattle. , today announced the line-up of teams for the fourth-annual Windermere Real Estate Rowing Classic, an invitational rowing regatta held at Redwood Shores, in Redwood City, California Redwood City is a suburb located on the San Francisco Peninsula in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. Redwood City is the county seat of San Mateo County. As of the 2005 census, the city had a total population of 76,000. . This two-day regatta and free community festival takes place on Saturday, March 25 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The regatta features more than 100 crew races between the nation's top universities as well as more than 400 club and high school rowers.

Drawing nearly 1,000 athletes and countless spectators each year, the Windermere Real Estate Rowing Classic is one of the most anticipated rowing events on the West Coast. In 2003, Windermere expanded it's involvement with the sport and launched, in conjunction with Stanford University, the Windermere Real Estate Rowing Classic at Redwood Shores.
