Standex Names Charles Dawson as President of Its Master-Bilt Division.

SALEM, N.H. -- Food Service Equipment Veteran Brings More Than 30 Years of Experience, Adding Management Depth in Key Growth Segment of Standex

Standex International Corporation (NYSE:SXI) announced today that Charles (Chuck) R. Dawson has been named President of Standex's Master-Bilt division.

Duane L. Stockburger, Group Vice President of Standex's Food Service Equipment Group, has been serving as President of Master-Bilt. He will focus all of his attention on his responsibilities as Group Vice President, a position to which he was promoted in January 2003. Dawson comes to Standex with more than 30 years of experience in the food service equipment industry. He joins the Company from Carrier Corporation, where he has been serving as Vice President and General Manager-Operations for Carrier's Commercial Refrigeration Heat Transfer Products Group. His duties in that position have included managing Master-Bilt customer accounts. Prior to his employment at Carrier, Dawson held senior management positions with Witt Heat Transfer Products in Colliersville, Tennessee; Manuerop, Inc. in Lawrenceville, Georgia; and Bohn Heat Transfer in Danville, Illinois. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Indiana University and has completed several executive management programs at Penn State University.
