Standex Names Charles Dawson as President of Its Master-Bilt Division.

:SXI) announced today that Charles (Chuck) R. Dawson has been named President of Standex's Master-Bilt division.

Duane L. Stockburger, Group Vice President of Standex's Food Service Equipment Group, has been serving as President of Master-Bilt. He will focus all of his attention on his responsibilities as Group Vice President, a position to which he was promoted in January 2003. Said Stockburger, "We are very pleased to have attracted a person of Chuck's caliber to assume the presidency of a key growth area of the Company. He is well respected in the food service equipment industry, and joins Standex with very solid credentials at an exciting time for the Group. We look forward to Chuck's contributions."

Dawson comes to Standex with more than 30 years of experience in the food service equipment industry. He joins the Company from Carrier Corporation, where he has been serving as Vice President and General Manager-Operations for Carrier's Commercial Refrigeration refrigeration, process for drawing heat from substances to lower their temperature, often for purposes of preservation. Refrigeration in its modern, portable form also depends on insulating materials that are thin yet effective.  Heat Transfer Products Group. His duties in that position have included managing Master-Bilt customer accounts.
