Stamford just the tonic for healthcare company.

W&M Properties has attracted its second tenant in one month from Greenwich to First Stamford Place, announces Jeffrey H. Newman, executive vice president of W&M Properties, the marketing and management agent for the building.

Currently located at 1445 East Putnam Ave in Greenwich, IVANS, Inc., a leading provider of healthcare technology solutions, has signed a new five-year three-month lease at 100 First Stamford Place, where it will occupy 4,684 s/f on the third floor.

"Being located in Greenwich did not offer the proximity to the train station that IVANS really wanted for recruiting purposes," says Jacqueline Pinyan-Durels, vice president of GVA Williams, who represented the tenant. "They wanted to be able to pull talent from New York City--and First Stamford Place, with the train station so close, offers this possibility. They also wanted a Class-A facility with all the amenities that First Stamford places provides, including a first-class hotel."

For similar reasons, Bank of Ireland signed a lease last month to relocate from its Greenwich location to First Stamford Place.

Mr. Newman, senior leasing associate Kathleen A. Caracappa and leasing associate Kimberly Zaccagnino represented the building owner in lease negotiations.
