Chan, who has served the Bloomberg administration as Senior Policy Advisory to Deputy Mayor Daniel Doctoroff, was selected to direct the Partnership based in part because of his in-depth knowledge of Brooklyn, having been a director of real estate for the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and a director of a local development corporation for East New York. The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership will have a staff of 25 and be based at 15 MetroTech Center. |
