St. Louis site of Steel Scrap seminar. (Scrap Industry News).

 "Steel Scrap 101: What the Industries Want Each Other to Know."

The event has been scheduled for Feb. 10 and 11 in St. Louis by the two Washington-based associations to run in concert with the ISRI Mid-America Chapter's Annual Consumers Night, which attracts a large crowd of scrap dealers scrap dealer nchatarrero/a

 and brokers each year to St. Louis for a dining and networking event. Like the Consumers Night, the seminar will take place at the Hyatt Regency hotel The Regency Hotel was a hotel in Denver, Colorado. Built in the 1960s to serve as a regional convention center, it was famous locally for its large gold dome and the luxury of the rooms within.  in downtown St. Louis Downtown St. Louis is the central business district of St. Louis, Missouri, the hub of tourism and entertainment and the anchor of the St. Louis Metropolitan area. The downtown is bounded by Interstate 64 to the south, Jefferson Ave. .

 the new seminar's organizers, "Far from being a beginner's course, Steel Scrap 101 is intended to begin a valuable and positive dialogue among [scrap and steel industry] participants to mutually improve efficiency and effectiveness of the steel recycling supply chain."

The seminar will begin with late morning registration on Monday, Feb. 10 followed by a networking luncheon and the first sessions First Sessions is an EP by singer Norah Jones, released in 2001. The EP was a limited release of approximately 10.000 copies. Track listing

 on "What Every Steelmaker Wants Every Scrap Dealer to Know." Presentations by steel industry executives and managers will cover topics including how the condition of raw materials affects steel plant operations and product quality.

Additional Monday sessions will take a look at the health and cost-control aspects of the steel industry, followed by a "working dinner" that looks at the role of brokers and other intermediaries between the scrap and steel industries.

On Tuesday, scrap dealers and brokers will get their turn to offer perspectives on scrap facility management and issues facing scrap dealers, including how to cost-effectively procure scrap.

The Tuesday sessions will end in time for seminar participants to attend the Tuesday evening Consumers Night function.
