BusinessWeek BusinessWeek is a business magazine published by McGraw-Hill. It was first published in 1929 (as The Business Week) under the direction of Malcolm Muir, who was serving as president of the McGraw-Hill Publishing company at the time.  On-line reports that Hollywood execs want a digital broadcast "flag" built into every new digital TV receiver. The flag would allow them to track audience members who view or record programming. Hollywood is "asking the FCC (1) (Federal Communications Commission, Washington, DC, www.fcc.gov) The U.S. government agency that regulates interstate and international communications including wire, cable, radio, TV and satellite. The FCC was created under the U.S.  to mandate this "robust" and "flexible" copyright protection. Studio execs claim piracy piracy, robbery committed or attempted on the high seas. It is distinguished from privateering in that the pirate holds no commission from and receives the protection of no nation but usually attacks vessels of all nations.  is a problem, despite robust box office sales in 2002.
