:S) will sponsor the entire 11 p.m. ESPN ESPN Entertainment and Sports Programming Network  SportsCenter telecast on Friday, Feb. 16. As the sole sponsor, Sprint Nextel will be the exclusive advertiser throughout the show.

More than eight minutes of branded commercial content has been produced by Sprint Nextel, which will showcase exclusive products and services such as the fan favorite NASCAR NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing), organization that sanctions American stock-car races, est. 1948. It held its first race in Daytona Beach, Fla.  NEXTEL FanView. Sprint Nextel also will debut exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage with Kasey Kahne Kasey Kahne (born April 10, 1980 in Enumclaw, Washington) is a race car driver in NASCAR's NEXTEL Cup Series. He currently drives the #9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger/Dodge Avenger for Gillett Evernham Motorsports with teammates Scott Riggs and Elliott Sadler. , Jamie McMurray Jamie McMurray (born June 3, 1976 in Joplin, Missouri) is a NASCAR race car driver. He currently drives the #26 Crown Royal / Irwin Industrial Tools Ford Fusion full-time in the NEXTEL Cup Series with crew chief Larry Carter for Roush Fenway Racing. , Elliott Sadler Elliott Sadler (born April 30, 1975 in Emporia, Virginia) is a race car driver in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series. He currently drives the #19 Dodge Avenger for Gillett Evernham Motorsports with teammates Scott Riggs and Kasey Kahne.  and 2006 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson taken during the filming of Sprint Nextel commercials that will air during the FOX broadcast of the DAYTONA 500[R] on Sunday, Feb. 18.

Sprint Nextel joins Nike and Xbox as the only companies to collaborate with ESPN to sponsor an entire SportsCenter program broadcast. This initiative highlights a weekend of advertising and marketing programs for Sprint Nextel and its sponsorship of the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series. Specific initiatives include:

* The debut of two commercials during the FOX broadcast of the Daytona 500 featuring drivers Elliott Sadler, Kasey Kahne, Jamie McMurray and 2006 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson.

* The Grand Opening of the NEXTEL Experience, a 10,000 square-foot NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series-themed mobile-marketing display. To mark the grand opening, Sprint Nextel will present Fan Appreciation Day at Daytona International Speedway Daytona International Speedway is a superspeedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. It is a 2.5 mile (4 km) tri-oval race track facility with a seating capacity of 168,000 spectators.  Friday, Feb. 16 from noon - 7 p.m. The event will feature numerous giveaways and appearances by NASCAR personalities throughout the day.

* Responding to the demand from NASCAR fans, Sprint Nextel announced that NASCAR NEXTEL FanView, the first device of its kind in any major sport, will now be available for sale at NASCAR tracks around the country.

NASCAR NEXTEL FanView combines the in-house race video feed and up to seven in-car camera channels, direct audio feeds allowing the user to listen to live driver and team conversations, as well as the radio broadcast and an exclusive audio-replay feature. Previously these devices were only available to fans on a rental basis.
