Sprint Nextel Names Jack Dziak Senior Vice President of Strategy.

: S) announced that Jack Dziak will join the company as senior vice president, Strategy, effective Feb. 5. Dziak will assume responsibility for driving Sprint Nextel's three-year strategic plan in support of the company's vision to deliver the best products and services on the most powerful networks. He will be based in Reston, Va. and report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Gary Forsee.

"Jack is a seasoned strategy veteran with experience that cuts across industries," said Forsee. "He brings a wealth of talent to Sprint Nextel with his expertise in mobility solutions and next generation innovation."

) where he was responsible for building MSV's next generation mobile broadband services portfolio.

Prior to MSV, he served as senior vice president, Corporate Strategy and Business Development for MCI Communications. While there, Dziak built and led a corporate strategy team responsible for developing and launching initiatives in advanced IP communications, VoIP, managed enterprise services, mobility, wireless broadband and other areas relating to MCI's post-bankruptcy strategy and its execution. , Dziak was Partner at Accenture in the Communications and High Tech market unit. He holds a Master's of Business Administration in finance and economics from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor's of Science in economics from Virginia Tech. Dziak is also a Chartered Financial Analyst Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
