:S) has completed its acquisition of Velocita Wireless (Velocita Wireless, LP, Woodbridge, NJ www.velocitawireless.com) A wireless carrier for low-speed data such as text messaging, telemetry, automated vehicle location and e-mail. Velocita supports a large percentage of Blackberry users through a partnership with Research in Motion. , based in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Velocita Wireless will operate as a subsidiary of Sprint Nextel, which intends to use some of Velocita's 900 MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc.  spectrum to supplement Sprint Nextel's capacity and coverage for its iDEN(R)-based Nextel National Network.
