Springville Cooperative Telephone Company Delivers Next-generation Broadband Services to Iowa using Pannaway's IP-BLC Platform.

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Iowa Coop Transforms the Service Capabilities of its Existing ATM and TDM Network with IP-Ethernet

Pannaway Technologies, Inc., designers and developers of next-generation, converged IP broadband systems to telecommunications companies, today announced that Springville Cooperative Telephone Company, located in Springville Iowa, has selected its multi award-winning Service Convergence Network (SCN(TM)) to deliver new high performance broadband services over an all IP packet network to Iowa residents in the townships of Springville, Viola, Paralta and Whittier.

Pannaway's IP-BLCs (broadband loop carrier) will be deployed in remote terminals throughout the coop's serving area allowing them to deliver new revenue-generating broadband services that will rival competitive offerings. The Iowa coop has selected Pannaway's customer proven 48-port Broadband Access Switch (BAS(TM)) which is a highly scaleable IP-BLC capable of supporting high-bandwidth voice, video and data services on a per port basis. Springville Cooperative is preparing for its IP network deployment now and will roll out new services in phases beginning in early summer. Services will include high-speed ADSL2+ Internet access which will replace its current DSL offerings, followed by digital IPTV and SIP-based Primary Line VoIP which could be available as early as Q4 2006.
