FRIDAY, May 11

Theft: 12:53 a.m., 300 block 55th Street. A caller reported that a nearby resident stole $600 from the caller's home.

Burglary: 8:34 a.m., 600 block B Street. A laptop computer and other items were stolen from a home after a burglar broke in through a front window.

Dispute: 11:45 a.m., 600 block South 42nd Street. Police were called to a residence after a female was physically threatened by her male roommate.

Theft: 11:49 a.m., 600 block A Street. A gas thief was caught trying to siphon siphon (sī`fən, –fŏn), tube through which a liquid is lifted over an elevation by the pressure of the atmosphere and is then emptied at a lower level.  gas out of the caller's car.

Narcotics narcotics n. 1) techinically, drugs which dull the senses. 2) a popular generic term for drugs which cannot be legally possessed, sold, or transported except for medicinal uses for which a physician or dentist's prescription is required.  possession: 11:58 a.m., B and Sixth streets. A witness reported an exchange of drugs and money near a church. Police arrested two juveniles.

Injured animal: 12:14 p.m., South 42nd Street and Mount Vernon Mount Vernon, estate, United States

 Road. A caller reported that a yellow lab was injured after being struck by a logging truck.

Menacing: 1:37 p.m., 4000 block A Street. A caller's ex-boyfriend was reported to have pointed a gun at the caller after he saw another man at her residence.

Theft: 3:10 p.m., 1500 block Fifth Street. An electric wheelchair was reportedly stolen from an elementary school elementary school: see school. .

Theft: 3:17 p.m., 2600 block Olympic Street. A shoplifter was pursued and detained de·tain

 by security officers at an adult video store after stealing a DVD player A stand-alone device that plays DVDs. It contains a DVD drive and the electronics to decode the digital video. The device may play only manufactured DVDs, or it may be able to play DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD+RW discs. DVD players are cabled to a TV or home theater system for display.  from a local store.

Fraud: 3:56 p.m., 6400 block A Street. A caller reported that an employee of an assisted living as·sist·ed living

A living arrangement in which people with special needs, especially older people with disabilities, reside in a facility that provides help with everyday tasks such as bathing, dressing, and taking medication.
 facility was writing fraudulent checks on his mother's account. The caller's mother lives at the facility.

Rape: 4:24 p.m., undisclosed location.

Dispute: 10:08 p.m., 500 block South 46th Street. A caller reported that a group of men were arguing in the street; they got inside their vehicles and chased each other at high speeds.

SATURDAY, MAY 12

Dispute: 12:01 a.m., 1900 block Fifth Street. Two shirtless males were reportedly fighting and arguing outside an apartment complex.

Armed subject: 12:34 a.m., 400 block Main Street. A caller reported that a male was displaying a handgun after being kicked out of a local bar.

Theft: 8:49 a.m., 1800 block Mohawk Boulevard. $500 was reported stolen from a local restaurant.

Dispute: 11:49 a.m., 1200 block Main Street. A couple claimed a local mechanic would not return their vehicle after they paid for repairs. They blocked the business owner's vehicle and threatened to `burn the building down.'

Vicious dog: 2:56 p.m., 500 block 33rd Street. A resident reported that a loose dog chased her and her son into their home and will not allow them to leave.

Sexual abuse: 4:53 p.m., undisclosed location.

Dispute: 5:48 p.m., 1300 block Mohawk Boulevard. A caller reported that a male and female were arguing in a parking lot. The male reportedly threatened to kill the female.

Fraud: 6:18 p.m., 3000 block Gateway Street. A business owner reported that someone tried to pass counterfeit travelers check in the amount of $500.

Theft: 9:16 p.m., 5400 block Main Street. A female reported that her daughter met a potential buyer of her dog. When the girl handed over the dog for the man to look at, he threw it into his vehicle and departed.

Prostitution: 9:44 p.m., 3500 block Gateway Street. A man at a gas station was reportedly propositioned by a female prostitute, who informed the man that she and her friends were staying at a local motel.

Criminal mischief: 10:53 p.m., 1500 block Mohawk Boulevard. An employee at a fast-food restaurant reported that three juveniles drove into the drive-through lane and pelted the building with raw eggs.

SUNDAY, MAY 13

Burglary: 2:40 a.m., 400 block Pioneer Parkway. A resident came home to find his front door kicked in. The caller could not tell if anything was stolen.

Assault: 11:41 a.m., 1300 block First Street. An elderly female at an assisted living facility was reportedly assaulted. Her son alleged that the assault happened at the facility and the nurses were uncooperative.

Theft: 12:11 p.m., 2600 block Olympic Street. A caller alleged that his neighbor picked up his photographs from a local store and threatened to destroy them.

Dispute: 12:21 p.m., 4500 Aster Street. A caller reported that his ex-wife broke into his home and refuses to leave.

Violation of restraining order restraining order: see injunction. : 1:49 p.m., undisclosed location.

Assault: 3:05 p.m., 300 block A Street. A middle-aged man was reported to have assaulted a male juvenile at the LTD LTD 1 Laron-type dwarfism 2 Leukotriene D 3 Long-term depression, see there 4. Long-term disability  bus station.

Dispute: 3:34 p.m., 300 block 49th Loop. A male and female were reportedly fighting indoors while two children waited for them outside.

Disorderly subject: 5:48 p.m., 400 block Main Street. A male subject was observed making racial comments and trying to punch people Punch People is a three-piece progressive rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana. The band consist of (Vocalist/Bassist) Danny Bourgeois, (Guatarist) Rock Whittington and (Drummer) Neil Benard. Punch People is very well known in the local scene.  at a local bar.

Theft: 6:30 p.m., 5700 block Main Street. A gas station attendant reported that a male drove away without paying for $20 in gas. Video surveillance will be forwarded to the police.

Theft: 8:17 p.m., 3500 block of 17th Avenue. A man reportedly held a knife to the neck of a man sitting in a vehicle and demanded his wallet.

Burglary: 8:37 p.m., 2900 block Centennial Boulevard. A caller reported that two subjects broke into a business and were vandalizing the property outside.

MONDAY, MAY 14

Dispute: 6:06 p.m., 3000 block Gateway Street. A caller reported hearing a female getting `thrown against a wall' inside a nearby apartment and said children were inside the residence. The caller took his handgun next door and attempted to confront the male combatant. The residents denied to the police that they were fighting.

Vicious dog: 8:17 a.m., 1800 block M Street. A maintenance man reported that a dog was off its leash at a nearby residence and tried to bite him. The man chased the dog off with a stick.

Violation of restraining order: 8:39 a.m., undisclosed location.

Theft: 9:17 a.m., 3200 block Gateway Street. Stereo equipment was stolen from a vehicle during the night.

Theft: 10:25 a.m., 2600 block Olympic Street. A juvenile male reportedly ran up $700 in charges on a cell phone he had found. The victim found the boy, whose mother promised to pay the charges. The victim filed a theft report after the charges were not paid.

Theft: 10:44 a.m., 2400 block Main Street. Someone reportedly stole money from a cash box at a business.

Theft: 11:59 a.m., 800 block Janette Court. Somone broke into a convertible by slicing open the soft top with a knife.

: 12:23 p.m., 2500 block Olympic Street. A male at a restaurant was reportedly attempting to write a check on a stolen account.

Theft: 3:31 p.m., 1500 block Mohawk Boulevard. A school official at a local middle school reported an assault on a student after the student's bike was stolen.

Fight: 7:05 p.m., 21st and Main streets. Three males were reportedly fist fighting outside of a residence.

DUII DUII Driving (while) Under the Influence of Intoxicants : 8:10 p.m., 3000 block Gateway Street. A female with a young child was reported leaving a restaurant after drinking alcohol and refusing a cab ride home. Police located the woman and made an arrest for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Burglary: 10:16 p.m., 200 block South 52nd Street. A person watching a house for an absentee owner reported the house had been broken into. A collection of swords was stolen from the home.

Dispute: 11:33 p.m., B street and Pioneer Parkway. A witness reported that a `car full' of males were assaulting three young girls.

TUESDAY, MAY 15

Elderly abuse: 1:03 a.m., undisclosed location.

Assault: 5:16 a.m., 500 block Centennial Boulevard. A female caller reported that her estranged es·trange

 husband broke into her home, pushed her and forced her to leave. Their children witnessed the assault.

Burglary: 6:42 a.m., 600 block Q Street. Several items were stolen from the home electronics department.

Dispute: 7:58 a.m., 100 block South 47th Street. A caller reported that two males were beating up another male outside a residence.

Unattended children: 8:10 a.m., 16th and I streets. Two children under 2 were reported to be standing on a street corner in their bare feet bare feet

: 9:42 a.m., 1700 block Fifth Street. A female caller reported that a sexually explicit letter was found on the doorstep of her home. The caller did not know the author.

Dispute: 10:12 a.m., 700 block 64th Street. A female said she came home to find her boyfriend and another woman `passed out' in a hot tub. The second female refused to put her clothing on and leave.

Found syringes: 12:23 p.m., 400 block Main Street. A caller found used syringes in the bushes on a street corner. SPD (Serial Presence Detect) The method used by DIMM memory modules to communicate their capacity and features to the computer. Data such as manufacturer, size, speed, voltage and row and column addresses are stored in an EEPROM chip on the module.  called a biohazard bi·o·haz·ard

Theft: 12:58 p.m. 5400 block E Street. A resident believed his or her wallet was stolen by a roommate, who made unauthorized transactions on a bank card. Bank employees have video identification of the person who made the transactions.

Theft: 1:02 p.m., 900 block Prescott Lane. A caller reported that mail was stolen from their mailbox A simulated mailbox in the computer that holds e-mail messages. Mailboxes are stored on disk as a file of messages, a database of messages or as an individual file for each message. The standard mailboxes are usually In, Out, Trash and Junk (Spam).  during a five-day period.

Fight: 3:09 p.m., Main and 54th streets. Several juveniles were reported to be armed with chains and preparing to fight.

Dispute: 9:01 p.m., 1000 block Fifth Street. A male and his ex-wife were reported to be screaming at each other in the presence of their children.

Disorderly subject: 9:51 p.m., Rainbow and Fairview drives. A caller reported that a male was racing his vehicle down the street and squealing squeal

WEDNESDAY, MAY 16

Assault: 12:58 a.m., 100 block South 14th Street. A patron of a bar reported that she had been assaulted.

Assault: 3:16 a.m., 500 block West Centennial Boulevard. A male reported that his girlfriend hit him with her vehicle. The caller then went to his girlfriend's home and smashed the headlights of her vehicle with a baseball bat.

Burglary: 7:11 a.m., 2500 block Gateway Street. An apartment home was reportedly burglarized while the family slept. The caller woke to find her car keys, purse, computer and vehicle missing.

Violation of restraining order: 1:30 p.m., undisclosed location.

Fight: 1:38 p.m., Pioneer Parkway and E street. Two males were reported to be fighting in the street.

Dispute: 3:55 p.m., 600 block South 40th Street. A male and female were reportedly fighting outside a residence. A witness reported that the female threw a rock through the window of a home.

Suspicious subject: 4:35 p.m., 66th and E streets. A mother reported that her 10-year-old daughter had been grabbed by the arm while the girl was walking home from school. The girl was not harmed and ran home.

Theft: 4:01 a.m., 86000 block McVay Highway. A fuel attendant reported that someone drove off without paying for $40 in gas.

Safety hazard: 8:59 a.m., I-105 and Q Street. A caller reported that an 8- to 9-year-old boy was walking along the interstate, attempting to cross the highway.

Fight: 3:50 p.m., Fifth Street and Centennial Boulevard. Ten juveniles were observed to be fighting behind a local church.

Fraud: 4:08 p.m., 4000 block Main Street. Someone used a stolen Visa card at a local gas station.

Suspicious conditions: 11:11 p.m., 28th street and Centennial Boulevard. A security officer foiled a theft attempt when he spotted a man pushing a cart full of electronics out the back door of a local business. The suspect fled the vicinity.
