Spring fever.

Catch the fever--spring fever that is. Put away the sweaters and leg warmers. Spring is all about a fresh start, so treat yourself to a bright new look. Here's a sampling of leotards (with their suggested retail prices).

When it comes to this spring's hottest colors, think cool. Dive into turquoise, royal blue, bright green, teal teal: see duck.
teal

Any of about 15 species (genus Anas, family Anatidae) of small dabbling ducks found on the major continents and many islands. Many are popular game birds.
, or periwinkle periwinkle, in zoology
periwinkle, any of a group of marine gastropod mollusks having conical, spiral shells. Periwinkles feed on algae and seaweed.
. Greens inspire growth and healing, and blues are calm and cooling. Emily Bromberg, a dancer with Festival Ballet Providence, says her wardrobe tends to lighten up in the spring. "We stare at our reflections all day long in rehearsals and if you see something brighter in the mirror, it lifts you up and gets you out of the winter blues."

Stick with styles that highlight your best features. Bromberg likes long-sleeved leotards with simple, classical lines. Wear a leotard with an open back if you want to see those muscles at work. Try a halter halter

the simplest form of restraint for the head of farm animals. Comprises a poll strap, a nose band and a halter shank that brings the ends of the nose band together under the mandible. Made of leather or cotton or manila rope.
