Utilizing SprayCool's Innovative Technology, New Product Solves Challenges of Cooling, Mobility and Protection While Potentially Saving Millions in Equipment Cost

LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. -- SprayCool[TM], a leader in solving complex thermal problems produced by high-performance computing needs, today launched its new SprayCool Sealed Transit Case (STC), potentially saving the military millions of dollars by enabling the use of commercially available electronic equipment in the field.

SprayCool's new case is 30 percent smaller, 50 percent lighter and requires 70 percent less power than traditional transit cases, making it easier for the military to house and transport electronic equipment.

The military's traditional transit cases, which are cooled with forced air, require the user to remove the front and rear covers before the equipment can be powered and used. As a result, delicate electronics are exposed to dust and moisture, making them more likely to fail during critical situations. In many cases, only costly electronic equipment specifically designed for harsh environments can be used.

SprayCool developed its new case with those issues in mind. Instead of using traditional air conditioning, the SprayCool case uses the company's revolutionary closed-loop fluid system to cool the electronics' critical components. The new case allows the use of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) electronics as an alternative to expensive custom equipment, potentially saving millions of dollars in equipment cost.
