Spray on.

Aerosol hairspray may be bad for the environment, but you can never have enough of it in a musical. Hairspray, the cult classic John Waters flick-turned-Broadway musical, is getting a makeover and hitting the screen again this month. The star-studded cast includes Queen Latifah, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, and some up-and-comers like Zac Efron from High School Musical and Brittany Snow (above) from American Dreams. Nikki Blonsky will play Tracy Turnblad. And her mother? This isn't the first time that John Travolta stars in a movie musical (Grease, 1978), but it's the first time he'll do it in drag.
