Kenner will present "Flexible Decision Support for Pharmaceutical R&D" as part of the Statistical Visualization in Bioinformatics workshop session on Monday, August 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. She will discuss decision support platforms for bioinformatics that meet stringent requirements, yet are flexible enough to support new answers to questions in pharmaceutical drug discovery. She will also introduce the audience to current technology that allows researchers and project teams to swiftly access and analyze vast arrays of data.
Earning her Ph.D. in chemical physics from the University of Texas in Austin, where she was a Welch Foundation Pre-Doctoral Fellow, Kenner has focused her career on information technology as applied to discovery in the life sciences.
