The Sports Council doesn't rank the list because "it's more fun to do it this way and let everybody debate their favorite," said David Simon, the group's president. "If you're a football fan, you're probably going to gravitate to the first and last items on the list, if you're a baseball fan, Nos. 6, 8 and 9.
