Sports Celebrities Love LA for Its -- Sports.


LOS ANGELES Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  -- Sports celebrities tend to define Los Angeles for its, well, sports. But they also love LA for its weather, beaches and cultural heritage.

The Dodgers and the Galaxy are among eight pro sports teams, some with championship titles, in Los Angeles. Others include the Lakers (basketball) and Kings (Hockey), as well as two Pac 10 college teams, the USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins. Venues such as STAPLES Center (basketball, hockey and arena football), Santa Anita Racetrack (horseracing), the Rose Bowl (college football) and the Home Depot Center (soccer) are spread throughout LA.

But sports in LA aren't limited to the spectator variety. Participatory sports, from skiing to skateboarding, abound throughout the region.

"I've been skating Venice Beach for 10 years. There's no other place like it," says skateboarding legend Eric Koston.

Myung-Bo, Cienfuegos, Ishii, Lasorda and Koston are among more than 30 well-known personalities who are part of the "See My LA" tourism campaign launched by LA INC inc - /ink/ increment, i.e. increase by one. Especially used by assembly programmers, as many assembly languages have an "inc" mnemonic.

Hi i'm a NFL fan but if i want to wach nfl sunday ticket only one DIREC TV. and i don't like DIREC TV because i have to make two years contrac and DIREC TV customer service is bed if they find out you need only NFL SUNDAY TICKET. DIREC TV make you to buy more chanel to get NFL SUNDAY TICKET. for me i don't like from NFL, NFL can give us a choice to get NFL SUNDAY TICKET form other provider not only DIREC TV.<br> If you are NFL fan pleace do not get DIREC TV and so NFL can change we pay more and NFL and DIREC TV make more money from us don't do that please this is not good for NFL fans <br>THANK YOU <br>AK
