NLB Development, a Princeton, NJ based, African-American-owned real state firm founded by Taneshia Nash Laird and Keith Brown, has launched the "Back Home" program by which NLB collaborates with athletes and entertainers to develop commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential projects.

NLB is developing a $3.5 million commercial building that will occupy a health club, spa and salon owned by Philadelphia Eagles player Troy Vincent and his wife Tommi. The star cornerback is well known for his outstanding work both on and off the field and is the recipient of many honors including the 2002 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year. H

Her business partner Brown--who has a bachelor's degree from Howard University and a master's degree from Georgia Institute of Technology--adds that NLB is especially interested in developing in distressed urban communities where the creation of new jobs and an increased tax base can have optimum impact.
