Last year's Golf Classic drew a capacity 160 golfers and raised more than $50,000 for its joint non-profit beneficiaries, Bergen County's United Way and the Volunteer Center of Bergen County Inc. He is spear-heading the event with Mary Connolly of Bergen County's United Way and Amanda Missey of the Volunteer Center of Bergen County. Cushman & Wakefield's Leonard T. Miller and Andrew Tarvin of Ridgewood and Matt Seltzer of Hillsdalef are assisting their efforts. Bergen County's United Way matches financial resources with pressing human service needs through involvement with 58 local agencies in Bergen County. The Volunteer Center matches human resources with vital volunteer opportunities which benefit more than 400 organizations in Bergen and Passaic counties. Companies can participate in a number of ways, from sponsoring a hole or tee, to the overall sponsorship which would include the corporate branding of the event. All sponsors will receive considerable pre- and posy-event publicity, signage and recognition at the Bergen County Golf Classic. |
