Sponsoring the future: Julia B. Fee helps needy schools.


Julia B. Fee Real Estate was a lead sponsor of the Chappaqua School Foundation's 10th anniversary Gala Dinner Dance held on March 5th at the Mt. Kisco Country Club.

Honored at the dinner was Janet Wells, founding member and former president of the Chappaqua School Foundation. Ms. Wells has more than 26 years of leadership experience in government and education and is currently New Castle town supervisor The position of Town Supervisor in New York State is usually the highest elected position in an incorporated town. The duties of the position are a fusion of legislative and executive functions. .  Foundation has awarded over 50 grants to all six Chappaqua schools to fund innovative programs, enriching equipment and important educational experiences for children from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Julia B. Fee Real Estate was one of three lead underwriters for the event. Other financial support for the event was provided by Hudson United Bank and Wachovia Bank. Over 225 people attended the dinner, where they enjoyed musical entertainment and participated in live and silent auctions to raise funds for the foundation.
