Houlihan Lawrence Inc., the market leader in luxury real estate in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties, has decided to terminate its 28-year affiliation with Sotheby's International Realty Sotheby’s International Realty, founded in 1976, is a luxury real estate network that offers a collection of luxury homes, estates and properties for sale throughout the world. , Inc.

Sotheby's International Realty was recently sold by the venerable auction house to Cendant Corporation, headquartered in New Jersey. Cendant is now bringing to Sotheby's the franchise model of its mass-market brands such as Century 21.
