SplendidCRM Announces Latest Version 4.0 Community Edition runs on Microsoft Windows Azure Platform.

RALEIGH, N.C. -- SplendidCRM Software, Inc., a pioneering provider of Microsoft-centric Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for open-source use, has entered the cloud with its release of SplendidCRM 4.0 Community Edition. This release has been specifically updated to run in Microsoft's Windows Azure Platform (http://www.microsoft.com/azure/). SplendidCRM can be installed to run just the database in SQL Azure, with the web application running locally, or to run the database in SQL Azure and the web application in Windows Azure. SplendidCRM continues to evolve with the incorporation of the Silverlight 3 Toolkit to replace the previous flash-based and hand-made charts. "Implementation of a dashlets model will allow each user to customize their home page experience with the new Silverlight charts."
